Event information

Local Hero (1983), it's a much-loved Scottish comedy-drama written and directed by Bill Forsyth. An American oil company executive is sent to a remote Scottish coastal village to buy the land for a proposed refinery, but he gradually falls in love with the people, landscape and way of life he has been sent to change.

It celebrates the importance of community and the places we call home.
