Event information

Welcome one and all to the glorious sound of the Thames Delta, coming at you live and direct from Southend-on-Sea - albeit in the middle of London.

First up, garage indie rockers Invaders give forth a sound that is made from 4 cups of estuary mud, a large measurement of swagger and a heavy helping of groove.

After a nerve-calming pint or three, you’ll be ready for Permanent Firmament to take the stage - Southend alumni playing songs by the Cusack/Son Of Buff/Adjustment songwriter Lance Baldock, with a sound that sips from the early Fannies, sludgy Neil Young cup with a dollop of indie-powerpop and shades of early Wilco.

You’re probably on the spirits by now but Dark Globes bring their melodically driven noise-pop, lo-fi garage rock, and folk-pop infused with gentle psychedelic rock and ringing guitars.

Finally - if you are still with us - The Bromides are a London-based (but big in Southend!) alternative noise-pop and garage rock band fronted by singer, guitarist, and Scratchy Records founder Simon Berridge, who also performs as Simon Bromide.
