November’s Jazz on the Green continues to accentuate our goal of providing you with performers of the very highest calibre, and this month’s featured act, Atholl Ransome, is most definitely no exception to this aim. As always, our monthly mix of high quality Jazz and delicious authentic Sri Lankan Buffet will be at Crediton Arts Centre

Scottish Saxophonist and flautist Atholl Ransome is one of the co-founders of the Haggis Horns, one of the funkiest bands in the UK and also horn section to the stars. They have played on numerous high-profile pop and rock sessions - notably for Producer Mark Ronson who described them as “The best F***ing horn section in the world!” Atholl has also recorded and toured with Martha Reeves, Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae, John Legend, Craig Charles, The New Mastersounds and many more. Atholl will be teaming up with the Neil Burns organ trio for a night of Jazz-Funk grooves, funky blues and boogaloo.
