Alabama singer-songwriter and former NASA contractor Amy McCarley writes finely crafted, emotionally direct songs that move between Americana, roots rock and country. McCarley has released three albums, including Jet Engines and MECO, working with acclaimed Nashville musicians and producers Kenny Vaughan and George Bradfute.
Her forthcoming album, TLI (Trans Lunar Injection), launches an ambitious new series of records inspired by the language and trajectory of spaceflight. Co-produced by McCarley, Vaughan and Bradfute, TLI explores change, resilience, connection and finding a new trajectory when the old one no longer fits, pairing her distinctive Southern voice with sharp, unvarnished songwriting and a warm, guitar-driven sound.
At The Green Note, McCarley will be joined by Joe Wilkins on electric guitar, bringing these songs to an intimate setting built around voice, guitar, stories, and the lyric at the center of it all.
