Event information

Eric Goulden is known to many as Wreckless Eric though most are unaware of his prodigious recorded output since his beginnings on Stiff Records in the mid-seventies.
Always evolving, never trading on past glories, Eric tends to do what he wants to do rather than what might be expected. He will almost certainly play his big hit from the seventies, the enduring Whole Wide World. He may play other songs from various stages in his career, but the set will most likely focus on his most recent albums released on Tapete Records, England Screaming, and Leisureland, a loosely conceptual album based around a rundown seaside town called Standing Water which bares a marked resemblence to Cromer.
Eric will be joined on stage by his wife, the legendary Amy Rigby on electric twelve and six string guitars and vocals; Camille Davila on keyboard bass and vocals; and Emily Winng on percussion and vocals - three women who are all, coincidentally, divorced from drummers.
Expect songs, stories, soundscapes and a strange rocking time, but don’t come expecting a recreation of 1977 - the past forty-nine years of touring and recording have made him so much more than that.

Lassie are Emily Winng (UK) and Camille Dávila (USA) - one guitar, one drum, and an eerie and uncanny blend of vocal harmonies, darkly Lynchian psychedelia, folk rock and tribal punk. Emily Winng: wild, untamed, shock-red Medusa hair, ferociously powerful drumming; Camille Dávila: sleek and shimmering, a groovy persona, oddly erratic with her retro guitar stylings feedback and the sound of surf.
Lassie will be performing their own open set before joining Amy Rigby as backing group for Wreckless Eric.
