Operating at the less-explored intersection of folk
song and art song, she has performed frequently in the
UK, as well as in Europe and America, and toured with
Diane Cluck, Alasdair Roberts, James Yorkston and La
Cozna among others. She has been described variously
as “a rare talent” (The Guardian), “brilliant and
peculiar” (Acoustic Magazine), and “very English and
very unusual” (The Times). Her recordings include 2
LPs (My Mother’s Children and Folly), 4 EPs and 4
singles.
Phil Tyler is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and Sacred Harp
teacher. Best known for his work in duos with Cath Tyler and
Sarah Hill, and currently playing with alt-folkers Powtes and
The Last Path, he has shared stages with Dick Gaughan, Bill
