Join us at Cremer for an evening of community, sharing and crafting.
The book swap social is a chance to share your love for books and get a new book in a sustainable, circular way. We ask that you bring along a book that you love but are willing to part ways with as you will exchange this book with a kind stranger!
Alongside the book swap, there will be an evening of crafting. You will join others as you either up-cycle your own journal cover, make your own journal cover or bookmark. Using collage, fabric appliqué, drawing and painting techniques you will create some personalized items for your reading & journalling items.
This evening is a chance to create something new and meaningful for yourself whilst using what we already have! Together We Make socials are all about creativity and community, come solo or with friends- no experience is necessary.
The logistics of the night:
A little note about the book swap: Please bring a book in fair condition that you’d be happy to receive yourself. We kindly ask that books are appropriate for a shared community space. ♡ There will be an opportunity for you to write a little note for the receiver of this book before you hand it over!
This event also includes an evening of crafting, there will be materials included in your ticket price for you to personalize your journal, make a new journal cover or decorate your own book mark. If you have an existing journal that you would like to decorate- please bring it along!
There will be a curated selection of food and drink available to purchase from Cremer throughout the evening.
