MC Rob Rouse (‘Eye-wateringly hilarious’ ★★★★★ The List) introduces Vancouver’s Glenn Wool (‘Why aren’t you in a queue somewhere buying a ticket?’ The Scotsman) and David Eagle (‘Instantly won over the full house’ ★★★★ Evening Standard) at Lancaster Comedy Club in January 2027 at The Borough, Lancaster Scroll down for comedians’ details

Vancouver’s Glenn Wool reached these shores in the mid-Nineties and, much to the disdain of lesser comedians, it looks like he’s here to stay. When not at home in his adopted Essex, Wool consistently sells out shows at the world’s biggest comedy festivals and has appeared on numerous TV shows. Topical, engaging, opinionated but never preachy and, of course, downright hysterically funny, Glenn is a surefire hit in front of any audience.

“Why aren’t you in a queue somewhere buying a ticket?” Scotsman “Effortlessly funny” Guardian “Absolutely hilarious” Independent

David Eagle is a folk musician. Not just a folk musician but one good enough to make a living out of it. A bloody good folk musician. An accomplished folk musician. The crazy, crazy bad ass world of folk has it’s downside though and when the cocaine and groupies got too much David bailed out and parachuted safely into stand up comedy. And, guess what? He’s a bloody good comic too. David has some class gags, routines and songs (well, if you already own an accordion you might as well do something with it.) and hardly even mentions folk music. Deliciously dark, quite twisted and devastatingly funny. Catch him soon.

“A comic tour de force” The Guardian “Instantly won over the full house” ★★★★ Evening Standard ★★★★★ ND Review

Rob Rouse‘s career has seen him encompass pretty much everything from presenting Channel 4’s The Friday Night Project, to appearing in the West End, to teaching geography. We would like to point out that this isn’t in chronological order. Rob’s a one man comedy whirlwind who drags the audience into his craftily spun tall tales with bucketfuls of manic energy, first class stage craft, eerily convincing characterisations and a barrage of hilarious one liners.

“Genuinely funny bones” Sunday Times “Eye-wateringly hilarious” ★★★★★ The List ★★★★★ Edinburgh Evening News
