At the age of just seventeen, Josie Long won the BBC New Comedy Award. Several years on, she is still proving herself to be one of the most talented comedians in the country. She won the Best Newcomer prize at the Edinburgh Festival in 2006, and was nominated for the equally prestigious Barry Award for best performer at the Melbourne International Festival in 2008. She has starred, and regularly written for, C4’s Skins, appeared on BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks and starts her own Radio 4 series airing this Spring.
