Event Information

The festival of film, food, art and music hosted at the Woolwich Grand Theatre in South East London will celebrate all things zombie in a rockabilly sort of way. This all day festival will be split into two parts, Zombie Rockin’ Today and Zombie Rockin’ Tonight. The daytime event will be an all ages.

During the day, children and adults will be invited to have their faces painted and experience a zombie haunted house. The vintage tea and eulogy room will be serving up brainy cupcakes and severed finger foods and throughout the venue there will be art vendors selling their zombie wares. Apocalypse survival training will be available along with many other treats such as a graveyard photo booth, missing person's wall, and the art of decomposing - music appreciation club.

Undergo intense zombie survival training from our undead response unit team from Bunker 51. Then you might be ready for the thrilling, apocalyptic haunted house by Zombie Earth, aimed at anyone who can handle the fear and excitement.

The night-time event will feature the RiffTrax screening of Night of the Living Dead. The movie will feature audio commentary by the former members of the Emmy-nominated, Peabody Award-winning show Mystery Science Theater 3000, Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. Our Master of Ceremonies comedian/musician/metalhead Andrew O'Neill will entertain along with magic, comedy, and burlesque acts.

The night will conclude with a set from the the psychobilly band The Marksmen and then dead hoofers dancing to the tunes spun by DJ Kitty Minx until late.
The event is supported by ‘Film London through National Lottery Funding on behalf of the BFI’. The Woolwich Grand Theatre is a non-profit organisation and proceeds from this event will go back into providing new and exciting future programming, donations are welcome.

16 and over.
