The seaside city will this year host an extended 2 day festival showcasing a wealth of specially selected top bands and stellar DJs, alongside an abundance of cutting edge digital art and culture.
Last year’s line-up was stacked with big-name live acts including New Young Pony Club, Four Tet, Caribou and Cut Copy and gave a first look at major new talent like Micachu, Errors and Filthy Dukes. Thanks to a sell-out crowd, this year’s Loop will again showcase the most exciting new acts of 2009, as ever, complemented by cutting edge art, VJs, film and animation.
This years artists include:
Squarepusher, Fever Ray, Tunng, Esser, Fujiya & Miyagi, Emiliana Torrini, The Invisible, Casiokids, The XX, Joakim & the Disco, James Yuill, DataRock, Fanfarlo, We Have Band, Hatcham Social, The Sian Alice Group, Plugs, Samim, The Glimmers, múm, Telepathe, The Qemists, Zomby, The Juan Maclean, Riton, Solid Gold... with plenty more to be confirmed over the coming weeks.
