Welcome to Inn-Ovation; the community music event of 2015.

An eclectic mix of Folk, Rock and acoustic music, hosted by a small community group for the whole community group! Everybody is welcome!

FRIDAY 31st JULY Doors 5pm, First Act 6pm

Friday evening will 'blast-off' with a performance from world-renowned saxophone superstar Marc Macisso and fellow Californian Kenny Herrera. Next up we'll have the flamboyant super stylish London based Gabby Young with her mix of Jazz, Folk and Circus Swing. Travelling all the way from Somerset we'll then see Julian Dawson before rounding the first night off with local superstar Roger Davies.

SATURDAY 1st AUGUST Doors 11am, First act 12pm
Saturday sees a lunchtime start and after some more Californian smooth-jazz we'll welcome yet another International musician with a visit from Liam Merrimann. Based in Waterford Liam is a well-respected song-writer and joins us straight from Nashville where he has just recorded his latest album. Then we have a real 'find' - the idea is to host this festival on an annual basis, and each year we want to find a star in the making and this year we're extremely confident we've done it! The magnificent and impeccable Emily Lee. This young lady absolutely oozes talent and will be a massive star before long! Our next performer Dave Nachmanoff from Davis California is an amazing guitar playing singer-songwriter - already well established in the UK as Al Stewart's lead guitar player. And fresh from two recent performances at the Royal Albert Hall. We also welcome all girl folk-rock supergroup The Poozies; featuring Sally Barker who was runner up on TV's the voice
Bringing Saturday to a close we've only managed to book from the magnificent Lindisfarne; The Alan Hull Song-book; - playing a mix of never recorded songs and all the Lindisfarne classics; Run for Home; Lady Eleanor; Meet me on the Corner; Fog on the Tyne; just simply Brilliant!


SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST Doors 11am, First act 12pm
Sunday we have the delightful Edwina Hayes - well known to all Fairport Convention fans - and speaking of Fairport, founder member Iain Matthews of Matthews Southern Comfort fame will grace the stage next. Iain recorded one of the biggest selling hits of the 1970's with his worldwide number one hit Woodstock; Then a spot of brilliance from guitar super trio Clive Gregson Andy Roberts and Mark Griffiths. Clive has written for and recorded with Nanci Griffiths, Andy toured with Pink Floyd and Mark is the bass player for Cliff Richard and the Shadows. And then before we know it the whole event draws to a climax with a blistering performance from the acoustic line up of international Prog-Rock superstars The Strawbs. With two number one hits behind them this is just a real privilege to have such musical royalty joining us.

We are the Holywell Community Pub Ltd. and recognised as one of the most prolific and dynamic village community groups in the UK. Our mission is to save the only pub in our village from being lost to development and re-open it as a community social hub. To benefit everybody!

To do this we need to raise significant funds - and we see only one way of doing that - working our heart's out at every possible opportunity.

The outcome from this campaign is being closely monitored by numerous national organisations pubs are at last being recognised as vital community services and something must be done to stop the relentless decline of recent years. We aim to be the exemplar volunteer group that can lead the way in this type of community venture. And for the last three years that's exactly what we've been doing.
