We like Americana music and put on occasional live shows in London and the South of England. We define Americana as the 'cool' end of Country/Bluegrass/Blues/SingerSongwriter - think EmmyLou rather than Dolly, Chatham County Line rather than Ralph Stanley, Bonnie Raitt rather than BB King, Jackson Browne rather than Neil Diamond. Not that there's anything wrong with the mainstreamers, it's just that the Rootsier stuff floats our boat. And it's still Underground, like the music we saw in the 60s and 70s - Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Nick Drake and so on.
