Event Information
For our final concert of 2024, we're thrilled to present an evening of virtuosic free improvisation from three undisputed masters of the art:
John Butcher (saxophones)
Mark Sanders (percussion)
Philipp Wachsmann (violin & electronics)
John and Mark first met Philipp when attending his improvisation workshops at London's Morley College in the early 1980s. Since then, their musical paths have intertwined frequently, and yet surprisingly, this will be the first time they have ever performed together as a trio.
No bar tonight, but you're welcome to bring along your own refreshments.
