More Fun Upstairs

More Fun Upstairs is a collective of friends living together in SE London. Rooted in the joy of communal living, they play trad-inspired tunes about loved ones, synth-pop songs about gender bending and slightly niche singalong anthems about getting cosy in co-operative housing. Expect banjos, accordions, samplers and synth solos. Their debut album, I Love My Life!, described by George’s friend Alex as “wide-reaching chaos with a sheer beauty that doesn’t take itself too seriously”, is a love letter to a year of living together — and a celebration of the future (and the fun) still to come... upstairs.
