Take a walk around the old fishing town of Leigh On Sea, collecting sounds as you go.

Hosted by sound veteran Brad Acton, you’ll be taken through the entire process of collecting sounds and noises, finding inspiration, types of microphones and recorders, the philosophy behind the noise and categorisation and storage.

You’ll then head to ‘No Place Like Home’ in Leigh Marina for a drink of your choosing as you are guided through different ways to use your sounds and turn them into something you might want to share or maybe even release.
