A Buxton Festival Fringe performance.
Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start.
Premiere performance of songs from a brand new opera written by Peter Byrom-Smith and Michael Howard.
Inspired by Mary Braddon, the Victorian sensationalist novelist, it is a tale of mysterious and uncanny happenings in a rambling country house situated somewhere on the moors above Buxton.
Remember - before Dracula, there was the Good Lady Ducayne.
The evening will include an illustrated talk and an after-performance discussion with the composer and musicians.
Aimed at a general audience but not for very young children.
