DAMP MATCHES
SUB-LIMINAL
DOLL FACE
PERMANENT DAYLIGHT
ELASTIC ECHO
On Saturday 18th January at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds, we'll be kicking off our gigging year with the return of Norwich's incredible "indie-trash-hop" heroes DAMP MATCHES! Since erupting onto the East Anglian scene back in 2019, Damp Matches have built a reputation as an incredible live act through a slew of incendiary live shows (including Latitude Festival, BBA Radio One's Big Weekend and high-profile supports with the likes of Reef, A, Gaffa Tape Sandy, False Heads, Starcrawler and Bodega) and a string of enormous/infectious punk-infused singles.
Support comes from purveyors of post-punk perfection SUB-LIMINAL, punk-rock paragons DOLL FACE (formerly The Strays), ambient/psych-infused alt-rock consortium PERMANENT DAYLIGHT and electrifying executants ELASTIC ECHO.
All ages are welcome. Under-14s must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
There is a fully-licensed bar on the premises. No ID, no alcohol.
THE HUNTER CLUB IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in the 21st Century we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
