Event Information
Join us as we cook up a feast for Edward Jenner and explore the culture of eating and drinking in Georgian England. On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October from 11am-4pm you can meet a cook, discover the flavours of the eighteenth century and relax in our Old Coffee House. Then, with your appetite whetted, on Saturday 22 October at 7:30pm we have a special talk where our three food historians will examine the links between food and politics, society and the economy in the eighteenth century, including a chance to sample a Georgian delicacy.
This weekend ticket includes access to the museum during the Saturday and Sunday openings and also to the evening talk, a saving of over £3 on standard adult admission.
